Pandemic Portraits
Chris Flegg has composed and recorded an instrumental piece as a backdrop to the December 2020 edition of Pandemic Portraits, a project by photographer Nic Madge to record the impact of the pandemic on the people of St Albans.
New album released 3rd November 2020
A new album titled Twenty's Plenty is a collection of 20 of Chris Flegg's solo guitar compositions. Tracks have already had airplay including Tony Corners "Blues Corner" show for Rock-Radio UK. You can buy the album now from the album page Twenty's Plenty which includes great new reviews by Norman Darwen at RnR magazine and Alex Monaghan at Folkworld.
UKCountryRadio.com featuring Chris Flegg as Spotlight UK Artist
Chris Flegg was featured as Spotlight UK artist on UKCountryRadio.com over the weekend 6th to 8th September 2020, playing almost one track per hour over the period from 5pm on Friday to 9pm on Sunday including interviews. This is a great station playing a good range of quality music and there is even a dedicated app for listening on your phone.
BBC Radio 4 program Open Country featured a Chris Flegg song in an episode called One Tree Hill about the mystery of Crookbarrow Hll near Worcester. The song A Hill So High was taken from the 2005 album My Sweet Lady, copies of which are still available from me online.
The program can be heard or downloaded via the BBC Sounds app
